This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional with a background in electrical, mechanical, industrial or technical sales who enjoys developing new business and building long-term customer relationships. You will have the autonomy to manage your territory, identify new opportunities and develop accounts, while being supported by an established manufacturer and experienced technical team About You We are looking for a confident and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys winning new business and developing relationships. Ideally, you will have: Previous experience in B2B sales, business development or territory sales. Experience within industrial, engineering, electrical, mechanical or technical sales. Knowledge of products such as electric motors, gearboxes, variable speed drives, inverters or industrial power transmission would be highly advantageous. A proven track record of generating new business and developing existing accounts. Confidence speaking with customers by phone and face-to-face. A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales. Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. The ability to work independently and manage your own territory effectively. A full UK driving licence. The Role As Sales Engineer, you will take ownership of your territory and be responsible for generating new business and developing existing customer relationships. Key responsibilities will include: Managing and developing a defined sales territory across the Midlands and Southwest. Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within industrial, engineering and technical markets. Proactively prospecting through telephone sales, networking, market research and customer visits. Building relationships with key decision-makers and commercial stakeholders. Arranging and attending face-to-face customer meetings to understand requirements and identify opportunities. Developing existing accounts and increasing customer spend. Providing customers with appropriate technical and commercial solutions. Working closely with the internal technical team to support customer requirements. Manage and develop the company's websites and microsites, including WordPress content, HTML/CSS/JavaScript updates, design improvements, SEO, PPC and emerging AI/LLM search strategies.
