We currently have exciting opportunities for Machine Minder's to join our team in Thetford This post is working NIGHTS The hours of work and shift patterns are: 18:00 - 06.00 - 4 on 4off £12.30 (+ 10% Night Shift Allowance between 10pm - 6am.) Main Responsibilities Carry out machine set up and prestart checks; ensure machine is safe to operate Carry out label and film roll changes Label print and verification checks, final product quality inspection Ensure machine is operating at maximum efficiency and follow Standard Running Conditions set out by the department Ensure workplace maintains high standards of GMP and hygiene & Health and Safety Support FLM to ensure smooth and safe delivery of production plan and carrying required quality Other tasks may include setting up and monitoring equipment, filling machines, paperwork, decanting ingredients, using the SAP system. The Ideal Candidate Our ideal Machine Minder will have: Passion for delivering our customer orders whilst making sure our high Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality standards are met. A good standard of spoken and written English and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Experience of problem solving and attention to detail You will be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment. You will need to enjoy working at pace and have determination to take action and achieve results in a fast moving business. Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
