As Business Insight Manager, you'll play a key role in helping us provide this for our tenants. You'll be responsible for: Leading the delivery of business intelligence, analytics and performance reporting services. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. Produce meaningful insight to support operational and strategic decision making. Manage corporate performance reporting and KPI frameworks. Drive improvements in data quality, governance and reporting standards. Provide analysis, forecasting and performance trends to inform business planning. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Lead, coach and develop the Business Insight team. Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and innovation. This is a hybrid role and requires regular office attendance to our Newent office in line with our agile working policy, with flexibility to attend onsite meetings as required. You'll bring: Proven experience leading a business intelligence, analytics or performance reporting function. Advanced Power BI and data visualisation skills. Experience developing and monitoring KPIs, performance frameworks and corporate reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience using data to influence organisational performance and service improvement. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams. A commitment to data quality, governance and continuous improvement. What we're looking for Significant experience within a business intelligence, insight, analytics or performance management environment. Advanced knowledge of Power BI and reporting technologies. Experience working with large datasets, databases and SQL. Strong understanding of performance management and business reporting. Excellent communication and presentation skills. The ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable insight. Proven leadership and people management experience. A collaborative approach with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Qualifications Experienced in Data Analysis and Reporting using Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards or quickly able to build skills to expert user level (e.g. experienced in a similar data analysis and reporting technology or toolset) Experienced in producing data-sets for reporting and analysis. Able to work with the IT Team and vendor technical teams to agree data extracts necessary. Good understanding of relational databases and the SQL language highly beneficial, or ability to understand and build SQL skills quickly. Good technical skills in IT systems and software including Microsoft 365 applications. Able to plan, prioritise and execute own workload or as part of a team or as project lead in collaborative business improvement group. Able to build business relationships and work in a resource capacity for all areas of the organisation. Knowledge and or experience in the housing sector, a repairs contractor or with housing management systems (esp. MIS Active-H) - Desirable. Business or Data Analysis certification or qualification - Desirable. Microsoft Power BI certification - Desirable. If not already held willingness to work towards a certification such as 'Microsoft Power BI Analyst Associate'. SQL certification desirable such as MCDBA. Closing Date - Friday 20th November 2026
