Programme Manager Location: Slough Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 Employment Type: Permanent Industry: Aerospace About the Role An experienced, commercially astute Programme Manager is required by a leading Aerospace component manufacturer to take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned programmes and product families throughout the full product lifecycle. This is a key leadership role, responsible for managing complex programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery of business, technical, commercial, and customer objectives. The role entails leading multi-disciplinary teams, manage programme risks, driving continuous improvement, and acting as the primary point of contact for key customers and internal stakeholders. Specific duties include taking ownership of assigned programmes and/or product families, ensuring successful delivery against agreed business objectives from inception through to end of life, establishing and delivering against clear programme objectives, reviewing business cases, mitigating risks, chairingprogramme reviews, managing commercial relationships and promoting a continuous improvement culture. Our client requires a degree qualified Engineer with proven Programme or Project management experience inthe aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or engineering sectors. Role Overview We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Boiler House Operative to join our on-site team at Basingstoke Hospital. This is a hands-on role involving the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical boiler plant systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance. You will work as part of a small, dedicated team of two, sharing responsibility for maintaining continuous operation of the boiler house. Key Responsibilities Carry out daily statutory and regulatory checks within the boiler house Monitor and maintain: 2 x steam boilers 3 x LTHW (Low Temperature Hot Water) boilers Record and report energy meter readings Perform routine water sampling and quality checks Inspect boilers, pumps, and associated plant to ensure safe and efficient operation Monitor and maintain dosing systems Identify and report faults or irregularities promptly Assist with minor maintenance tasks and liaise with engineers where required Working Pattern & Additional Duties Participation in an on-call rota (£150 per week, with additional payment for call-outs) Weekend and bank holiday working required as part of a rota system Daily checks are required 7 days a week Overtime & Additional Pay: Weekend checks: Paid at 4 hours per standard hourly rate Bank holiday checks: Paid at 4 standard hourly rate + 1 additional day of annual leave Call-outs: Paid in addition to on-call allowance Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will: Possess strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills Be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a small team Demonstrate a strong awareness of health & safety procedures Be flexible and willing to participate in out-of-hours and weekend working

Working along the M3/M4 corridor area (Berks, Hants, Surrey to West London) the role entails servicing the plumbing requirements of predominantly 'high end' domestic clients on a first-time fix basis wherever possible. A minimum of five years plumbing experience is required along with an appropriate qualification including gas safe certification .
