Health & Safety Manager - M&E - Power Project, UK Linum Consult's client is a leading specialist in renewable and conventional energy infrastructure. Due to continued growth and a major upcoming project, they are urgently seeking a Health & Safety Manager with strong M&E experience to join their team on a high-profile power project based in Essex. RESPONSIBILITIES Leading all Health & Safety initiatives on a major M&E package for the Thurrock Power Station project Developing and implementing HSE strategies in line with UK legislation and company policy Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all site H&S procedures, particularly related to Mechanical & Electrical installation works Conducting regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Leading toolbox talks, safety briefings, and inductions Liaising with contractors and stakeholders to maintain a strong safety culture on site Reporting incidents and near misses, carrying out investigations, and recommending corrective actions PROFILE NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification is essential Proven experience working in an HSE role on large-scale power, energy, or infrastructure projects with a focus on M&E packages Detailed understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation, particularly within construction and power sectors Experience working within a principal contractor environment, ideally under CDM regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and educate teams APPLICATION PROCESS If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on a key role in one of the UK's most significant power projects, please submit your CV via the Apply Now button.
