All About the Role We have an exciting opportunity to work within a forward-thinking organisation for an ambitious, customer focused Internal Sales Executive to help build and maintain a strong portfolio of existing customers through excellence in customer service, technical support and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. To further enhance the business and the sales opportunity onboarding of new business is also a requirement through a proactive and managed approach, lead generation, relationship planning and prospecting. Specific tasks include: Generating new sales opportunities and development of the existing customer base. Build long term business relationships to understand customer needs and requirements. Develop new business, ensuring opportunities are maximised. Processing sales enquiries and quotations through the end-to-end sales cycle. Ensure excellence in customer service is always a priority. All About the Role Based at our BCP Omega Scunthorpe site, the purpose of this role is to carry out multi-drop driving & related duties involved with the safe carriage of goods. The basic hours for this role are 50 Monday to Friday and start and finish times can vary, plus overtime and nights away. Specific tasks include: To oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises As required, & appropriately trained, work mobile equipment to load &/or unload vehicles Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed & returned without delay. To check the load security & weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift. To ensure that the delivery vehicles are always maintained to Company standards, reporting of any defects to the vehicle. Ensures vehicles are in safe condition, with daily checks correctly completed before use, & are operated in a safe manner. Uphold all exacting health and safety standards at site, on the road and at customer premises. Accurately update documentation relating to the carriage of products. Maintaining contact with the depot, ensuring any issues are communicated throughout the day. Be an ambassador for high quality customer service A willingness to work nights away when needed. All About the Role Based at our Advanced Steel Services site, Grove Road, Walton-Le-Dale, Preston, the purpose of this role is to ensure customers orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. The shift hours are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Specific tasks include: Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item. Loading, cutting and offloading of steel. Ensure all documentation is correctly actioned for accuracy of stock. Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift truck/Side loader and overhead crane. Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers orders Keep work area clean and tidy maintain high levels of Health and Safety at all times. Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements.
