The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work to approved welding procedures and industry standards. Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and other specialist materials. Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and technical specifications. Complete structural, pipework, pressure vessel, and heavy fabrication welding tasks. Conduct visual inspections and ensure weld quality meets project and industry standards. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and productivity. Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance welding on existing structures and equipment. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Support fabrication, fitting, and assembly activities when required. Assist with weld testing and quality assurance procedures, including NDT requirements. Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time. Essential Requirements Valid welding codings/certifications to recognised standards (e.g., ASME IX, BS EN ISO 9606, AWS D1.1). Minimum 10 years' experience as a coded welder in industrial, construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, marine, or manufacturing sectors. Proven ability to produce high-quality welds in multiple welding positions. Extensive knowledge of welding procedures, metallurgy, and fabrication techniques. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical documents. Experience working with pressure systems, structural steelwork, and pipework installations.
