You will ideally have: Previous experience in an administrative, stock, purchasing, logistics, supply chain or order processing role Experience working with a stock, purchasing, inventory or ERP system Good understanding of administrative and order management processes Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident telephone manner Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work accurately in a busy environment Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve issues Ability to work independently and use your own initiative A positive, flexible approach and the ability to work well as part of a team Experience within a technical, manufacturing, construction, distribution or supply-chain environment would be advantageous, although this is not essential. Travel The role is primarily office based in West Leeds. There will be occasional travel to other UK locations for stock checks, approximately 6 times per year. These visits will generally involve 1-2 overnight stays, with accommodation and business expenses paid by the company. A full UK driving licence is preferred. Working Pattern Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The position is initially office based, with 1-2 days' home working available following successful completion of probation, subject to line manager approval.
