IT Manager - Gloucester HQ Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office £55,000 Permanent A growing group business is looking for a hands-on IT Project Manager to join its IT team in Gloucester. Reporting to the IT Director, you'll run IT projects from start to finish. The group grows partly through acquisition, so bringing newly acquired businesses onto its systems and infrastructure is a regular part of the role, alongside a wider programme of infrastructure, cloud and business systems projects. The IT team is lean. You won't have a large project office or a bench of engineers to hand work to; you'll own your projects, roll your sleeves up when needed and see the results of your work quickly. Clear communication matters here; you'll set the rhythm for how project progress is shared across the business. Who this suits: An experienced Technical Project Manager who still enjoys getting into the technical detail An infrastructure or cloud engineer who has already been leading projects and wants project delivery to be the main job What you'll be doing: Planning and delivering IT projects from requirements through to handover Getting hands-on with configuration, testing and deployment, rather than just coordinating others Gathering and documenting business requirements, building project plans and managing milestones Writing test plans and running testing groups with users Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, and keeping everyone clear on where every project stands at any given time Holding colleagues and suppliers to account for what they've committed to Managing third-party suppliers, including scoping, quotes and delivery against agreed outcomes Managing project budgets, tracking cost savings and reporting progress to leadership Working within ITIL change and service transition processes Handing projects over to support teams with full documentation and training Improving how projects are run and sharing knowledge across the team What you'll need: 3+ years in IT project management or a technical delivery role A track record of delivering infrastructure, cloud or systems projects from requirements to handover Enough technical depth to do real work on your projects, not just manage them Strong communication skills and a track record of keeping stakeholders properly informed The confidence to hold people to account, including those you don't directly manage Experience managing budgets and reporting to senior stakeholders Experience working within ITIL-aligned change management A solid grasp of project methodology (PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid); a formal qualification is welcome but not essential Useful but not essential: Microsoft 365 and Azure experience; this is the main environment, but strong technical PMs from other platforms will pick it up Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900 or MS-900 Experience integrating acquired businesses or running migrations If you're a PM who likes staying close to the technology, or an engineer ready to make the step into project management, we'd like to hear from you. Apply with your CV and we'll be in touch. Asset Resourcing is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.

SAP PP/MM Business Analyst: Manufacturing & Supply Chain London (4 days per week in the office) Permanent £70,000 to £90,000 + bonus The opportunity: Our client is a global process manufacturer with plants worldwide. They run SAP ECC today and are converting to S/4HANA (brownfield). Discovery completes at the end of 2026, with go-live planned for late 2027. You will be the main IT partner to plant operations and supply chain. You will support ECC day to day while helping design, test and deploy S/4HANA, so you will see the programme through from design to cutover and hypercare. This is a requirements role, not a configuration role. You will gather and document what the business needs, then hand it to the managed service provider (MSP) and system integrator to build, and hold them to it. What you will do: Act as the primary IT contact for manufacturing plants and supply chain teams, building strong relationships with plant leadership. Turn operational priorities (throughput, service, quality, safety, cost, uptime) into clear IT demand and roadmaps. Map current and future-state processes; write functional requirements, process flows and acceptance criteria. Give clear direction to onshore, offshore and MSP teams, and hold them to agreed SLAs. Lead on the functional side across: Production Planning and MRP (SAP PP) Procurement and supplier processes (SAP MM) Quality Management (SAP QM) Plant Maintenance and asset management (SAP PM) MES, EHS and shop-floor integration Work with Finance, Sales and Logistics on end-to-end process impacts. Support S/4HANA process harmonisation, UAT, cutover and hypercare for plant-facing capabilities. What you will bring: SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA experience in a manufacturing and supply chain setting. Strength in Planning (PP/MRP) and Procurement (MM); these are the core of the role. A manufacturing background; process manufacturing is preferred, but discrete is welcome. Involvement in multiple end-to-end SAP projects. Experience working with global, onshore/offshore and MSP teams. The ability to turn business processes into clear technical deliverables and to influence without authority. A personable, straightforward style; plant teams and delivery partners need to trust what you tell them. A degree in IT, Business or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience. Nice to have: S/4HANA project experience, QM, PM, MES or OT/shop-floor exposure. The detail: Permanent role based in London, 4 days per week in the office. Occasional travel to sites, mainly Europe and the US; expected Q4 2026 and mid-2027 (UAT). Basic salary of £70,000 to £90,000, depending on experience + 12% bonus + bens (incl. health ins and 26 days holidays) Interested? Send your CV or get in touch for a confidential conversation about the role.
