Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll implement an already-defined strategy, bringing consistency across legacy systems, driving cloud migration, and creating a scalable Microsoft-led environment. Client Details This opportunity is with a fast-growing, multi-brand hospitality group, recently doubling in size following the acquisition of 20 sites. With significant investment underway and ambitious growth plans ahead, technology is at the heart of their next phase.The current IT team is very small, with a support from a third party provider; this is an ideal role for someone who enjoys being technical. Description Technology Leadership & Delivery Own and deliver the IT roadmap, budget and operational priorities Act as a senior IT authority across the business, coordinating people, partners and platforms Translate established strategic objectives into practical, on-the-ground delivery Cloud & Microsoft Ecosystem Lead the migration from on-premise infrastructure to a cloud-first model Own and optimise the Microsoft stack, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID Ensure reliable, secure and scalable infrastructure across all sites Operations & Service Management Oversee IT support, onboarding and offboarding processes Manage suppliers, vendors and managed service partners Ensure consistent service standards across a geographically distributed estate Security & Governance Implement modern security principles, including identity and access controls Ensure business continuity, backup and disaster recovery standards Drive cyber awareness and good IT governance across the organisation Hospitality & Site Technology Support venue technology including EPOS systems, networks and Wi-Fi Lead and coordinate technology rollouts, refurbishments and new site openings Travel to sites where required, particularly in the early stages of the role Profile A successful Head of IT should have: Strong technical expertise in IT systems, infrastructure, and security. Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business goals. Proven experience in a senior IT management or Head of IT role. Strong, hands-on background in Microsoft cloud technologies. Experienced in coordinating small teams and third-party providers. Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment. A pragmatic "doer" who can hit the ground running. Experience in multi-site, hospitality or similarly operational environments is highly desirable.
