The Role: The renowned, iconic College of Food at University College Birmingham is looking to recruit a Patisserie and Confectionary Lecturer to join our growing and exciting department, and to be part of this positive, progressive, highly skilled teaching team delivering high quality, inspiring, and inclusive programmes across their portfolio of courses. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience across the Food, Confectionary, and Patisserie sectors, and preferably have teaching experience within the HE field, or proven experience of training and mentoring in a professional environment. The role will require you to teach both practical and theory subjects in areas such as Advanced Pastry Techniques, Specialist Patisserie and Confectionary, Bakery New Product Development, Patisserie and Confectionary theory, as well as providing outstanding pastoral support and tutorage to diverse and ambitious student cohorts.
