The end-to-end VAT compliance processes will need to be reviewed and updated as and when required to ensure efficiencies throughout the process. In addition to VAT processes, this role will oversee Construction Industry Scheme compliance activities and become involved in assessing the future tax landscape of our business in these key areas. This role will also involve using the electronic expense system to identify items relevant for the PSA and P11D returns. The Ideal candidate will be personable with high attention to detail. Strong communication skills will also enable them to make a significant contribution within the department and the wider business. Key responsibilities include: Ensure all VAT compliance processes are working effectively and efficiently, including MTD, domestic reverse charging etc. Preparation of monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
