AC Corporation is seeking a President to lead and scale a complex commercial and industrial MEP operation during a period of continued growth and transformation. This executive leader will oversee day-to-day business operations across construction, project execution, estimating, procurement, fabrication, field operations, safety, and customer relationships while maintaining full P&L accountability for the business. The President will play a visible leadership role across the organization and market. This individual must bring operational discipline, financial acumen, strong people leadership, and deep commercial mechanical contracting expertise. The position is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and reports directly to executive leadership within Crete United. What You'll Own Full operational leadership for a large-scale commercial and industrial MEP business Accountability for revenue growth, profitability, operational performance, and customer satisfaction Leadership of project management, estimating, field execution, fabrication, purchasing, safety, and operational support functions Development and execution of strategic growth initiatives across construction and service operations Financial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, labor productivity, cost controls, backlog management, and monthly operational reviews Building and maintaining a high-performance, accountability-driven culture Recruiting, developing, and retaining top operational and field talent Strengthening relationships with owners, general contractors, industrial clients, vendors, and strategic partners Driving operational improvements across systems, processes, pricing strategy, project execution, scheduling, and workforce planning Supporting and reinforcing a world-class safety culture across all operations and job sites Partnering closely with Crete United leadership and peer operating companies across the network What We're Looking For Proven executive or senior operational leadership experience within commercial or industrial MEP contracting Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical, fabrication, and building systems operations Demonstrated success leading large operational teams and developing leaders Track record of driving profitability, operational excellence, and sustainable growth Experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects Strong financial and business acumen with prior P&L responsibility Ability to lead through growth, change, and organizational transition Technical foundation gained through field, project management, engineering, estimating, or operational leadership experience Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience working across multiple departments and balancing strategic leadership with operational execution Preferred Background 15+ years of leadership experience within commercial MEP contracting or related industries Experience leading teams of 50+ employees across field and office operations Design-build experience strongly preferred Mechanical or electrical engineering background is a plus Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, or mission-critical construction environments preferred AC Corporation offers a highly competitive executive compensation package including: Highly competitive base salary Performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage 401(k) with company match Executive leadership growth opportunities within the Crete United network Long-term career stability with a respected, growth-oriented organization Why This Role Matters This is not a maintenance leadership role. Primary Purpose Electrical Foreman is a supervisor that directs apprentices, mechanics and journeymen. This role is responsible for successfully installing, testing, locating, and repairing electrical wiring, system and fixtures. Responsible for verifying correct installation. Works closely with superintendents, project managers and client to include participation in company and client meetings. Typical Duties Give and follow specific directions Schedule daily job site functions to include required manpower. Schedule job site inspections. Responsible for selecting and purchasing appropriate material, tools and equipment for assigned job. Inspect completed work for compliance and specifications. Accurately maintain all required documentation relating to safety, project administration, purchase orders, change orders, as-built drawings, schedule and QA/QC. Submit timesheets and safety documentation. Mentor and assist lower-level electricians. Plan layout and install materials and/or equipment required by job. Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads. Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components. Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Repair faulty equipment or systems. Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures. Understand and comply with company/job safety requirements. Maintain a safe and clean environment.
