PYRA Construction Solutions Passive Fire Estimator Remote UK Salary: Up to £60,000 Location: Remote UK Based Sector: Passive Fire Protection Coverage: UK PYRA Construction Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Passive Fire Estimator to join an established passive fire contractor. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of passive fire projects throughout the UK. The Role Price tenders for firestopping and compartmentation packages Estimate planned and reactive maintenance contracts Complete accurate take-offs from drawings, surveys and specifications Build rates covering labour, materials, plant, access and preliminaries Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Attend site visits, pre-tender meetings and client meetings when required Provide clear and well-documented handovers of secured projects to Contracts and Commercial teams Review completed projects against original estimates alongside the QS Feed lessons learned back into future pricing and tendering Experience & Requirements Proven estimating experience within the passive fire protection industry Strong technical knowledge of firestopping and compartmentation Experience with intumescent systems and fire doors is advantageous Understanding of third-party accreditation, fire door standards and current fire safety legislation preferred Confident reading drawings and specifications and producing accurate take-offs Strong commercial awareness and judgement Excellent Excel skills Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident speaking with clients, suppliers and subcontractors over the phone Full UK driving licence The Opportunity This would suit an experienced Passive Fire Estimator looking for a remote position with a salary of up to £60,000 , working across a broad range of fire protection projects.
