Ofsted Registered Manager Children s Home, North London About Us: We are a growing, forward-thinking children s residential care organisation with homes across the Southwest, London, and a multi-home provision in Durham. As part of our expansion, we are seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to support the development of new services in North London, with clear opportunities to open and lead homes from the ground up. You ll work with children aged 7 17 who have experienced loss, instability, or trauma, supporting them to rebuild trust, confidence, and hope through trauma-informed, PACE-based practice. What You ll Do: Lead and manage the home, ensuring smooth operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance. Act as Safeguarding Lead, prioritising children s safety and welfare. Deliver child-centred, trauma-informed care and support children s independence, education, and wellbeing. Oversee admissions, transitions, care planning, and accurate record-keeping. Build strong relationships with families, social workers, schools, and external agencies. Drive continuous improvement, audits, and compliance with all statutory requirements. About You: Essential Experience: 5+ years working with children in residential care, including 2+ years in a supervisory, Deputy Manager, or management role. Experience in LD (Learning Disabilities) or EDB (Emotional, Developmental, or Behavioural) settings. Proven track record of achieving at least a Good Ofsted rating as a Registered Manager or senior leadership team member. Essential Qualifications & Knowledge: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children s Residential Care (or equivalent, fully recognised). Full UK Driving Licence. Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and Children s Homes (England) Regulations 2015. Residential Support Practitioner - Children's Services: £13.50ph - £14.00ph (DOE) + £50 bonus per sleep-in, dependent on experience Enhancement rates available for overtime and bank holidays.
