This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone working towards a degree who is looking to gain hands on experience in an FMCG and R&D environment. Key Responsibilities Support packaging development and optimisation for new and existing products Lead Value Engineering (G2G) projects with support from senior stakeholders Collaborate with cross functional teams on packaging specifications and sustainability initiatives Manage technical documentation and liaise with packaging suppliers Participate in agile investigations and problem solving activities Lead and support packaging trials where required About You Degree (or working towards) in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or similar (desirable) Previous experience (placements or internships included) in R&D, packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG (advantageous) Understanding of packaging materials, specifications, and basic testing methods Exposure to value engineering, cost optimisation, or sustainability projects is a plus Confident, organised, and comfortable working with technical documentation and suppliers This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills and gain practical industry experience within a supportive R&D team. The Role Working closely with senior engineering leadership, you will support the planning, execution, and integration of capital projects within a manufacturing environment.
