Role: Technical Operator / Remote Producer (DBS checked) About the role Podlings and The Podcast Studio are hiring a reliable, tech savvy Technical Operator / Remote Producer to support video and audio podcasts for schools and business clients. You'll run remote sessions, keep quality high and keep people calm on mic. What you'll do Operate live and recorded remote sessions (Zoom, Riverside, SquadCast or similar) Monitor audio and video quality in real time Troubleshoot connection and recording issues quickly Manage file transfers, backups and initial post production checks Liaise with teachers, pupils and business clients to ensure smooth recordings What we're looking for DBS checked (essential for school work) Experience with podcast or broadcast tools Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills - able to reassure adults and children on mic Ability to work freelance on flexible schedules during school hours and some evenings Nice to have Basic video editing in Premiere, Final Cut or similar Experience adding captions or translated subtitles for inclusivity Confidence working with schools or young people What you get Freelance, flexible work that fits around other media gigs Projects across Podlings school podcasts and The Podcast Studio Competitive day rates with the chance of ongoing bookings Be part of a team helping schools and businesses tell authentic stories We're hiring a freelance Technical Operator / Remote Producer (DBS checked) to support Podlings and The Podcast Studio podcasts.
