The project is to create a new uk payroll separating around 300 employees who work for international entities The payroll project manager will manage the setting up and transfer of employees onto the new payroll. Reporting into the Head of Reward, they are keen to find someone who can pick up and run with this project and work autonomously. You need to have done this type of project before, ideally a few times so it's your bread and butter! The role will be 2 days per week and based from the London offices for 1 of those. Role responsibilities: Lead the payroll-related tasks of the separating of UK employing entities project, working closely with the HR BP, establishing payroll project timeline, advising the business of key deadline dates ensuring they meet wider project deadline. Working with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary requirements of new payroll, information, signatures, regulatory requirements in a timely manner. Eg. Setting up PAYE with HMRC, completing anti-money laundering checks, new bank details transfer (if applicable). This will include working with Company Directors. Ownership of all payroll data management, transfer and auditing across to the new payroll. Working with Payroll analyst and external payroll provider Ensuring all internal reporting is configured to support data feed into the new payroll, generation of new reporting and working with Global HR systems team. Accountable for new payroll to be set up with HMRC accurately and in line with regulatory requirements; RTI, PAYE, P11d, P60 etc. Reviewing internal payroll processes to ensure it continues to support the teams in processing activities, but also in line with deadlines. Supporting wider UK-based HR team with timelines, education on the new processes and employee communications (relative to payroll) as required.
