HEALTH AND SAFETY COORDINATOR POSITION : Health and Safety Coordinator LOCATION : Hull SALARY AND BENEFITS : £32.5K + Pension ( up to 10% matched ) + Health Scheme THE ROLE : The Health and Safety Coordinator role is a key position working for our client in the manufacturing sector in Hull. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a safe, compliant and proactive working environment. The H&S Coordinator role is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Some flexibility with the hours may be required. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : • Support the development and implementation of H&S policies, procedures, and safe systems of works, to include contractor control, PTW systems, and associated record keeping • Conduct risk assessments, and maintain RA and PUWER data base, inspections and audits, ensuring actions are tracked and completed • Maintain the Hazard ID system, through reporting, maintain and are tracked through to completion • Assist with incidents and accident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up • Coordinate and maintain accurate Health and Safety documentation, training records and compliance logs • Support Managers and teams with Health and Safety, guidance and practical support • Schedule and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness briefings • Ensure COSHH compliance by auditing and maintaining chemical inventories and associated Risk Assessments. • Prepare H&S reports to support internal reviews and communication briefs • Promote and champion a positive safety culture across all levels of the business YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING : • Experience in a Health and Safety role (Coordination / Advisor or similar ) • Knowledge of UK H&S legislation and best practices • Ability to conduct Risk Assessments and investigations • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Strong computer, IT and organisational skills to include power point and excel. • Good attention to detail and record keeping • Comfortable at engaging with people at all levels It would be desirable if candidates also had : • NEBOSH ( either currently studying or a willingness to complete) • IOSH Managing Safety • First Aid, Fire Marshal, or other relevant safety training To find out more about the Health and Safety Coordinator role please contact Steve Ball on the number provided. CIVIL/STRUCTURAL REVIT CAD TECHNICIAN POSITION : Civil/Structural Revit CAD Technician LOCATION : Commutable from Beverley , Hull, Hessle , Goole , Selby , York , Bridlington , Grimsby , Doncaster , Scunthorpe SALARY AND BENEFITS : Up to £38k DOE. They are a successful multi-disciplinary Engineering/Construction Consultancy who work for a wide variety of clients on exciting projects throughout the UK The successful Civil/Structural CAD Technician will be responsible for producing high-quality civil and structural drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project delivery from concept to construction stages.
