Lead Insurance Pricing Analyst at Monzo - Remote UK - Remote This role is listed as hybrid, based out of Monzo's London office near Liverpool Street station, with some flexibility to work from home. The posting also carries a tag, suggesting fully remote arrangements may be considered for exceptional candidates - though the default expectation is office attendance in London. For digital nomads, this role presents limited location freedom in its standard form. That said, Monzo explicitly mentions flexible working hours and trust-based scheduling, which signals some async-friendliness for heads-down analysis work. Regular collaboration with insurance partners and internal data science teams likely requires reasonable UK timezone alignment (GMT/BST). If you're a nomad based in Europe and able to travel to London occasionally, this could work. Popular destinations with strong digital infrastructure and reasonable cost of living to consider: Lisbon, Portugal: £2,000-£2,500/month comfortable living. On a £100k+ salary, savings potential is significant, and Portugal's Digital Nomad Visa applies for non-EU citizens. Barcelona, Spain: £2,500/month. Spain has a new Digital Nomad Visa; EU workers have free movement rights. Berlin, Germany: £2,200/month. Good flight links to London for occasional office visits. Monzo provides a Macbook and extra WFH setup support for fully remote workers - a positive sign for location flexibility. The £1,000 annual learning budget could also cover coworking space subscriptions or professional conference travel. We're on a mission to make money work for everyone.
