It is a key role using experience to build broader Power Bi adoption and understanding across the division and in meeting the Global Strategy set by Global IT of moving reporting predominantly to Power BI and making local reporting more sustainable and scalable Provides analysis, report design and development, support, maintenance and governance for our Microsoft Power BI environment Participate in the full life-cycle development process Identify investment opportunities for senior business leaders through understanding of data insights Uses understanding of BI applications to architect the right solution Able to coherently combine disparate data sources efficiently and reconcile back to other systems where relevant Performs impact analysis for requested changes or additions to data structures and reports Performs data analysis and modelling for development and maintenance projects Improve regional usage ofPowerBI Identify and drive Commercial Excellence Power BI projects Become a trusted senior advisor to the Chronic Care division on use of Power Bi, analytics, and business model innovation Influence various departments to implement automated business processes and deliver efficiencies Promotes sharing of best practice across the division and engaging with external divisions in the UK and within Global COmEx teams Analyses system usage and recommends improvements With IT, develops, updates and improve performance monitoring tools in line with business priorities that are robust, accurate and timely Participates in walkthroughs of BI solutions including design, coding, testing and documentation reviews ensuring standards and quality are met User test new features for bugs and sharing with wider team Document system features and changes 3-5 years of Analyst experience in a consumer driven or consultancy organization Ideally qualified to degree level or with a higher qualification in an analytical, mathematical or computing-related field Attention to detail - able to critically assess data and ensure it is accurate Expert use of Data Visualisation in Power BI DAX fluency Experience and understanding of data integration, relational databases and data warehousing Some SQL knowledge, including complex querying and working with large, disparate datasets Experience and training in how to train end-users Fluency in English (written and spoken) Project Management experience and skillset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ideally, experience of using reporting systems such as E1, Siebel and/or OBIEE.
