Contract Manager / Contract Administrator - Location: Old Oak Common Station, London Salary: Up to £110,000 + Excellent Benefits Package Major HS2 Infrastructure Project An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Manager / Contract Administrator to join a leading specialist contractor on one of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure projects - HS2 Old Oak Common Station. This opportunity would also suit an experienced Commercial Manager with strong NEC contract knowledge who is looking to move into a more dedicated contract management role while remaining involved in the commercial delivery of a major project. Role Reporting to the senior project leadership team, you will take ownership of the contract administration function, ensuring the effective management of contractual obligations, change control, notices, correspondence, risk management and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This is a key appointment requiring an individual with a thorough understanding of NEC contracts and a proven track record of managing contracts on major construction or infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Administer and manage NEC contracts throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all contractual notices, communications and obligations are issued in accordance with contract requirements. Support the commercial team with compensation events, early warnings, change management and contractual correspondence. Review and interpret contractual documentation, identifying risks and opportunities. Maintain accurate contract records and ensure contractual compliance. Provide contractual advice and guidance to project teams and senior management. Support dispute avoidance and resolution through proactive contract management. Liaise with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders on all contractual matters. Assist in developing commercial strategies that protect the business while maximising project performance. About You Proven experience as a Contract Manager, Contract Administrator, Commercial Manager or in a similar contractual/commercial role within the construction or infrastructure sector. Strong working knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts is essential. Experience working on major construction, rail, infrastructure or engineering projects. Excellent contract management and administration skills. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify contractual risks and opportunities. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
