We're currently supporting a leading UK consultancy looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable, and future-ready network infrastructures across their Space, Defence, and Intelligence projects. Your Role You'll be responsible for architecting and delivering next-generation network solutions spanning enterprise, virtualised, and cloud platforms. Working closely with engineering, security, and cloud teams, you'll: Design secure, resilient, high-performance networks across Cisco, Juniper, Arista, and SDN/SD-WAN environments Deliver and optimise routing, switching, and service provider technologies including BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, and MPLS Implement advanced security controls including firewalls, segmentation, PKI, and zero-trust across hybrid environments Apply automation and scripting to streamline operations and improve efficiency Build cloud-ready connectivity for AWS, Azure, and GCP, including VPC/VNet designs and interconnects Monitor and improve global infrastructures using observability and WAN optimisation tools What You'll Bring We're looking for a hands-on engineer with a proven track record designing and managing complex network infrastructures.
