Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk Location: Kingston, ON Type: Existing vacancy Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday Compensation Range: $52,000 - $57,000 Overview The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for functioning with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, judgment and efficiency with respect to the timely production and maintenance of financial records. The Accounts Receivable Clerk ensures that the resident accounts are accurate and up to date and that charges and receipts are processed within the established time limits. Responsibilities Processing resident payments which can be made by cheque, preauthorized payment or online payment. Process monthly rent billing and post to resident accounts. Calculate rent increases monthly and produce N1 forms to be served to residents. Approve Above Guideline Increases (AGIs) when awarded by the LTB including posting retroactive charges. Reconciliation of resident accounts to ensure accuracy. Process resident move ins and move outs. Communicate with residents through emails and phone calls to help resolve queries. Other accounting related duties as assigned Qualifications Post-secondary accounting education preferred Professional experience in an Accounts Receivable role preferred Experience with Yardi Voyager an asset Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications and PDF software Possess excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Why Homestead?
