This is a newly created role being introduced initially on a six-month contract , giving the business an opportunity to establish what the longer-term finance structure should look like. As the company grows, they now need someone capable of taking greater ownership of management accounting, cashflow and financial controls, while helping bring more structure and discipline into the finance function. It will suit someone who enjoys getting close to a business, building relationships and helping professionalise a finance function without trying to turn an SME into a PLC. Hours & flexibility The role is 24 hours per week , with considerable flexibility around how those hours are worked. This could be: 3 full days 4 shorter days Another consistent pattern agreed with the business You can choose your hours between 8:30am and 5:30pm , and there is scope to work one day per week from home . The key requirement is simply that your working pattern remains relatively consistent week to week.
