Data Entry Administrator Location: Poole, Dorset Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week Salary: £13.45 per hour Temporary: Commences 1st September. Expected duration is 1 month. Our client, a well-established and growing Poole-based business, is looking for a Data Entry Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is accurate, organised and confident working with data, with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills. The Role Working as part of the team, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining information across the company's systems and databases. The role will primarily involve data entry and administration, with some telephone contact when required. This may include contacting customers to clarify information or confirm that an order has been recorded correctly. This is not an outbound role and there is no cold calling or business development involved. Your duties will include: Accurately inputting and updating data across internal systems Processing and checking customer and order information Maintaining accurate records and databases Checking information for accuracy and correcting any discrepancies Contacting customers by telephone when clarification is required Confirming order details and resolving any queries relating to information received Ensuring data is kept accurate and up to date Carrying out general administrative duties as required Working closely with colleagues across the business Meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy About You We are looking for someone who: Has previous data entry or administrative experience Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Has good keyboard and computer skills Is comfortable speaking to customers on the telephone when required Has a professional and friendly telephone manner Is organised and able to manage their workload effectively Can work accurately in a busy environment Has a methodical, reliable and proactive approach to their work Is available to start at short notice Previous experience within data entry, administration, customer service, order processing or a similar role would be advantageous.
