Construction Administrator Location: Baynards Green, near Bicester (OX27) Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension) Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full Time We're looking for an experienced Construction Administrator to join a busy site team working on a major M40 Bridge Repairs Project . This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a long-term infrastructure project, supporting the site management team with day-to-day administration and project coordination. The role will initially be full-time on site , with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working arrangement (3-4 days on site) once the project is fully established. Key Responsibilities Managing site administration and project documentation. Raising purchase orders and processing orders for materials and services. Maintaining accurate records for the accounts team. Updating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and project trackers. Preparing and maintaining Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Filing and controlling site documentation. Supporting the wider project team with general administrative duties. Requirements Previous administration experience within the construction or civil engineering industry is essential. Experience placing purchase orders and maintaining financial records. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential. Experience preparing and maintaining ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) . Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Confident communicator who can work effectively with site teams, suppliers and office staff. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. This is a long-term contract (minimum 16 weeks) with urgent starts available , offering consistent hours and competitive pay. Job Description Carry out general mechanical fitting duties to support the installation of a new paint shop, including assembling and installing equipment, aligning and securing mechanical components, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.
