Metal Finisher Peterborough Circa £30,000 Are you a passionate Metal Finisher, looking for an exciting new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Metal Finisher to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in Peterborough working as part of their assembly team. Job Purpose: Glass Bead and Shot Blaster: To glass bead and shot blast jobs as required by the business. Polisher: To polish components using hand tools or power tools as required. Painter: To paint items as required. Main Duties: Glass Bead and Shot Blaster To operate the stainless steel glass bead unitTo operate the mild steel shot blast unitTo inform Team Leader when shot/glass bead requires re-ordering Polisher To effectively utilise a variety of hand/power tools (grinder wheel, polishing tools etc).To understand and demonstrate a knowledge of engineering drawings Painter: To be responsible for mixing and matching coloursTo prepare surfaces by filling, sanding and masking off, prior to paintingTo perform touch-ups prior to dispatch General: To maintain a clean and tidy environment within the work areaTo be aware of and follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any H&S information to managementBe aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours Profile: Experience in grinding, polishing, painting and de-burring Experience working within a metal fabrication manufacturing environment Thorough methodical approach Able to interpret drawings and specifications Attention to quality Flexibility to work overtime as required and to undertake other tasks in other areas Able to work in a team environment and to offer improvement ideas A high degree of self motivation This is a full time permanent Metal Finisher position, Mon - Fri (half day Friday), offering an annual salary up to 31k plus annual company benefits to include a 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products and free car parking. Buyer / Senior Buyer Thetford £21,000 - £35,000 (DOE) Are you a confident and enthusiastic Buyer looking for a new role? Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Buyer to work with one of our well-established clients based in Thetford. Principle Responsibilities for the Buyer: Responsibility of making sure that the parts for the manufacturing and sales orders are correct Making sure that the price of procurement is monitored Taking ownership of delivery dates Work closely with the commercial team on projects Understand how to calculate margins, exchange rates and excess stock value Understand suitable suppliers to approach for parts needed Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis and build good relationships with them Understand or learn the basics of electrical components Input purchase orders and ensure that part numbers, quantities, prices and delivery dates are correct Resolve invoice queries Assist the goods in and quality support team Undertake administrational tasks Person specification for the Buyer: Can problem solve with resolutions Can use excel, outlook and winman (preferable) Experience in managing multiple projects ideally within a supply chain and manufacturing environment Eye for details Accuracy when processing data Excellent organisational and communication skills Good knowledge of electrical component parts (preferable) This is a full-time permanent Buyer position, working Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00.
