Financial Controller Based: Bury Salary: circa £85k + 20% bonus + benefits - hybrid working 3 days office, flexible hours We are exclusively working with a growing manufacturing business in Bury looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join the team. This role will be a truly exciting opportunity for someone, reporting directly to the CFO you will work closely with the wider business, overseeing all aspects of finance & leading a team of 10. Role: Management and mentorship of finance team, driving continuous improvement and development Leading financial integration of future acquisitions, ensuring group consolidation reporting Continuous improvement of monthly board finance report - preparing budget, operating plan & packs to the board Reviewing, implementing and overseeing BOMs - setting up new and linking to stock/labour hours - driving across the business working closely with Operations & Supply Chain Review of monthly management accounts, understanding key drivers for performance and providing commentary for board reports Producing annual report & financial statements, leading year end process & first POC for auditors (improving year end process along the way) Responsible for financial reporting to exec team monthly, quarterly & annually - driving improvements Working closely with the CFO producing statutory accounts, liaising with auditors and delivering reporting papers Ownership of bank compliance, overseeing all treasury, cash flow & expenses Experience: ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years experience in Manufacturing - essential BOMs experience essential Experience of producing board level reporting & leading a finance function Statutory accounts/year end/audit experience essential Experience driving value added projects within a growing business Please send your CV for immediate consideration!

Financial Controller Based: Bolton Salary: £65k - £80k dependent on experience We are working with a fantastic, growing SME based in Bolton looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team. The business are growing rapidly with this role overseeing finance reporting to the CEO whilst heavily involved in developing processes/new systems to support their growth over the next 3-5 years. Role: Preparing management accounts, board packs & statutory accounts including year end tax, audit & payroll requirements Preparing and creating budgets & forecasts, working with wider department managers driving cost control & profitability Producing financial reports & analysis for the board, attending monthly board meetings and offering recommendations Balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations & cash flow forecasting - overseeing all treasury and costs Maintaining fixed asset register, posting journals and managing accruals/prepayments Overseeing all transactional finance and 2 staff members - first POC for auditors, banks & external relationships Driving improvements across finance & the site, working with department managers to deliver systems/process/cost improvements Reviewing internal controls, ensuring business & finance processes are sustainable for future growth Experience: ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience as a Finance Manager/FC Experience as number 1 in an SME highly desirable Manufacturing experience essential System implementation / improvement experience highly desirable Please send your CV for immediate consideration!

Group Financial Controller Based: Preston - Hybrid Salary: up to £75k/£80k dependent on experience + bonus + benefits + progression We are exclusively working with a rapidly expanding PE backed business offering fantastic opportunity for a progressive Group FC to join the team. Business are experiencing huge growth as they embark on their expansion journey, requiring a Group Financial Controller in a newly created role which will play a critical leadership role within the finance team reporting directly to the CFO. The role will ensure best-in-class financial governance, support PE reporting requirements and provide financial insights to drive business performance. Core responsibility will oversee all aspects of group financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities. This is an excellent role for an ACA qualified Accountant looking to join a truly exciting business that can offer potential route/experience leading to future FD Role: Responsible for consolidating financial results across multiple entities, maintaining compliance with tax regulations internationally Contributing to the improvement and delivery of group-wide financial process/controls and their improvements Working with CFO, SLT and PE stakeholders supporting strategic initiatives including acquisitions, international growth and potential future exit activities Preparing group consolidated financial statements and annual statutory accounts, leading on group audit process Overseeing balance sheet integrity, leading on month end close ensuring all group & intercompany transactions recorded Managing group tax compliance, reporting & advisory across the group liaising with local country tax advisors, completing group tax returns, acquisition tax and PE tax requirements Quarterly investor reporting, dealing with PE stakeholders on reporting Managing group cashflow & treasury, managing 13 week cashflow process Technical accounting for hedging & banking requirements Participate in ad-hoc financial projects including supporting M&A due diligence for acquisitions, system implementations & post-acquisition integrations Experience: ACA qualified Accountant from Big 4 or 10 top Audit ESSENTIAL Industry experience ideally gained from a private equity environment IFRS/FRS accounting knowledge desirable Tax experience essential - group tax, acquisition tax, PE tax requirements ideal Pro-active, keen to develop & able to work in a fast paced environment with autonomy Please send your CV for immediate consideration
