Electronics Engineer Role Overview Our client is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to develop robust electronic hardware solutions for demanding automotive and motorsport applications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electronic system design, sensor technologies, RF communications, and high-reliability hardware development. Working closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and product teams, you will take concepts from initial design through validation and production. Skills & Experience Required Degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline (or equivalent experience). Proven experience designing electronics within automotive, motorsport, or similarly demanding industries. Strong knowledge of pressure, temperature, humidity, or comparable sensing technologies, including integration and validation. Extensive experience designing analogue and digital circuits, including CAN and CAN FD communication interfaces. Practical experience using professional schematic capture and PCB design software. Understanding of RF hardware design, particularly within the 433 MHz and 2.4 GHz frequency bands. Knowledge of EMC/EMI principles and techniques for achieving compliant, reliable hardware designs. Experience carrying out detailed fault finding, root cause investigations, and component-level diagnostics. Familiarity with Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) principles. Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear engineering documentation and validation reports. Desirable Experience using circuit simulation software during hardware development. Knowledge of advanced PCB technologies including HDI, Flex, and Rigid-Flex designs. Exposure to motorsport or automotive data acquisition and telemetry systems. Strong analytical abilities with confidence interpreting technical data and test results. Understanding of embedded software integration and hardware verification processes. PCB layout certification such as CID or CID+ would be advantageous.

Mechanical Engineer reporting primarily to the Engineering Supervisor, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities, layout and machinery used run to maximum efficiency. This includes, but not limited to, total preventative maintenance, breakdowns of all mechanical and electrical in nature, time management and reporting. The role will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. 50,000 equivalent paid weekly 288 hours annual leave (based on hours due to the shift pattern) 250 Per year tool allowance Panama Shifts 2-2-3 (2 weeks days 2 weeks nights) To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need to: Be fully qualified in Engineering with a nationally recognised qualification (NVQ Level 3 Engineering / Mechancial Engineering or more advanced) Have extensive plant level experience with significant proven experience. Be able to demonstrate diplomacy and objectivity in all dealings. Have excellent organisational skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills. Be a part of an engineering shift delivering effective, time sensitive, repairs including prioritisation including weekend PPM and contractor control. Have knowledge of the relevant legislative bodies and instruments as the post holder will be required to demonstrate effective supervision within these boundaries. Have comprehensive knowledge of plant and machinery manufacturers as is the contribution to site improvement, utilising this knowledge. Have strong proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, and other engineering specific programs. You will also need to be self-motivated and highly resilient.
