Production and Packaging Operative Do you have experience of working in manufacturing or production, then this role could be for you! We are seeking multiple dedicated Production Operators to join our food manufacturing team to work Monday-Friday 6am - 3pm or 2pm - 10pm shift. These roles involve working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. The ideal candidate MUST have manufacturing or production experience and will possess a strong understanding of food safety standards, mechanical knowledge, and basic mathematical skills. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to continue with their expertise within the food production industry. Production and Packaging Operative Duties The successful applicants will learn how to operate and maintain our new tablet presses and capsule filling machines whilst following strict GMP guidelines. We are looking for candidates that are able to follow instructions precisely, monitor machines to ensure high batch quality, work efficiently and meet output targets. You must be able to work independently, taking responsibility for the quality of your output whilst supporting the wider team. Please note this is a role that requires lifting and standing for extended periods. Midweek Hours available: Working hours are 6am - 3pm OR 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday (42.5hours per week paid) Mid week rates of pay are £13.00 per hour starting rate Production and Packaging Operative Qualifications: Previous experience or knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is desirable Must have a basic understanding of food production processes and machinery operation. Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good numeracy skills for recording data accurately and performing basic calculations. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy manufacturing environment. Cleaner General Responsible for maintaining cleanliness across clean rooms and wider site areas, ensuring all hygiene and safety standards are consistently met. 2. Cleaner Technical Focused on cleaning production machinery and technical spaces, primarily within the Tablets production area. This role requires more specialised cleaning of equipment and production zones. RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure health and safety practices are followed • Maintain company GMP and a food safe working environment • Assist in other areas of the business when required • Maintain quality standards by following company procedures and handing materials and equipment safely to prevent damage • Utilise PPE as directed to ensure personal and product safety • Ensure cleanroom floors, walls, windows and surfaces are kept clean. • Clean toilets, restock supplies and prepare dirty linens for collection • Clean staff breakrooms, common areas and corridors • Removing waste and recycling to the outside bins. Reporting any damaged equipment and facilities to your line manager Requirements • Previous experience cleaning in commercial environments such as factories, hotels or pubs. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. • Ability to work independently and proactively improve cleanliness day to day. • Willingness to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures. • Conscientious, reliable and able to work as part of the production team.
