We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to oversee the financial operations of one of our client's sites in Surrey. You will play a vital role in maintaining strong financial processes and will be responsible for ensuring smooth financial management supporting a Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background, preferably working towards an accounting qualification (or qualified by experience),and be confident in financial process implementation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is essential. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head of Finance in preparing monthly management accounts. Process supplier invoices and maintain accurate financial records. Maintain financial documentation and ensure proper filing. Prepare and manage the weekly supplier payment schedule. Support the Head of Finance in providing auditors with required information and documentation. Perform regular bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in the annual budget preparation process. Process orders and credit card payments efficiently. Monitor and follow up on outstanding fee payments. Process petty cash and reconcile accounts. Ensure purchase orders align with budget approvals. Process and manage sales invoices on a termly basis. Provide administrative support for budget-setting and month-end processes. Assist with insurance renewals and lease agreements. Support the transition to a paperless finance system.

We are looking for a proactive individual with strong analytical and communication skills to contribute to the seamless financial administration. Key Responsibilities: - Manage transactional accounting in Xero accounting software and linked tools like ApprovalMax, Dext, Pleo. - Establish new supplier accounts and handle invoices, payments, and receipts accurately. - Reconcile supplier accounts by checking statements and resolving any discrepancies. - Maintain precise financial records and filing systems. - Assist in managing fees, including billing, collection, and reconciliation. - Support the Head of Finance with tasks such as cashflow reporting, budget monitoring, and analysis. - Reconcile bank statements and perform other balance sheet reconciliations. - Aid in internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. - Maintain confidentiality of financial information and provide administrative support as required. Qualifications and Experience: - 2 years of experience in finance/administration. - Accounting technicians qualification (e.g., AAT) is desirable. - Proficient in financial principles, organizational skills, and time management. - Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. - Experience with Xero, Google, and Excel is advantageous. - Proactive, self-motivated, reliable, and trustworthy. - Capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a positive and professional attitude. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
