Platinum Search Recruitment is working with an established and growing property management company based in Ware, Hertfordshire, who are looking to appoint an organised and personable Office Administrator to join their team. This is a varied and hands-on administrative position, ideal for someone who enjoys a busy working environment, is confident communicating with customers and colleagues, and has excellent organisational skills. As Office Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the property management team. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of the office, communicating with customers, contractors and suppliers, and helping to ensure property-related activities are organised and completed efficiently. The role will be primarily office-based, with occasional visits to local properties and sites when required. Office Administrator Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to emails in a professional and helpful manner. Provide general administrative support to the property management team. Schedule and coordinate appointments, inspections, contractor visits and meetings. Liaise with customers, contractors, suppliers and other external contacts. Assist with coordinating maintenance and property-related requirements. Update internal systems, databases, records and paperwork accurately. Prepare and maintain correspondence, documents and administrative records. Follow up on outstanding actions and assist with ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timescales. Assist with the day-to-day coordination of properties and contractors. Attend local sites when required to assist with administration and coordination. Provide general support to the wider team and undertake ad-hoc administrative duties as required. Office Administrator desirable attributes & skills: Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Confident telephone and written communication skills. A professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers and external contacts. The ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage multiple tasks. Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office and internal systems. The ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team. A proactive approach and willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous due to occasional local site visits. Property management, lettings, facilities management or similar industry experience would be advantageous, but is not essential. Candidates with strong administration and customer service experience who are keen to develop within the property sector will also be considered. We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our clients established building maintenance company. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and managing the commercial aspects of building maintenance and construction projects ranging from £1,000 to £2,000,000 in value.
