Courtauld Digital Marketing Manager - Full Time Salary: £45,088 - £51,413 pa depending on knowledge and skills The Courtauld advances how we see and understand the visual arts, as an internationally renowned centre for the teaching and research of art history and a major public gallery. This is an exciting time to join the Courtauld. We are expanding into new areas of scholarship, growing our gallery programme, widening access to our teaching and research and embarking on a capital programme to build a world-class campus at Somerset House that will reunite the work of the Courtauld Gallery and Institute into one state-of-the-art facility. The role We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic and creative Digital Marketing Manager to join the Courtauld's Marketing and Communications team. This role will help to drive engagement in our work through expanding our digital reach and developing compelling content that will exemplify our brand philosophy of 'look deeper, see further.' You will have a deep understanding of our digital platforms, including social and email, and advocate for the needs of our online audiences, collaborating with colleagues across all departments to unearth stories and ideas and translate them into realised content. A keen eye for detail, a strong visual sensibility and excellent written communication skills are essential to this role. The successful candidate will be able to translate data points into meaningful user insights that, in turn, refine our digital marketing strategies. Key responsibilities will include: Social Media Management: Lead channel strategies and delivery for core platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Threads. Collaborate with Marketing Officers, the Digital Content Producer and external partners to conceive, develop and share compelling content in line with channel goals and marketing and editorial priorities. Develop new content vehicles to showcase the Courtauld's programming and scholarship. Lead an influencer programme to support engagement with the Gallery Build strong relationships with teams across the Courtauld and our student body, to ensure new editorial and content opportunities are identified and developed. Work with the Courtauld's digital marketing agency on paid social media campaigns to build channel growth. Email Marketing: Oversee the Courtauld's email marketing strategy, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications and Senior Manager, Audience Insight and CRM to oversee email campaign schedules, list management, segmentation and compliance (GDPR and PECR). Collaborate with teams to plan, build, test and deploy email campaigns, ensuring content meets the highest standards. Work with teams to regularly report on the performance of email marketing campaigns, ensuring data and insights inform continuous improvement of the programme. Responsible for onboarding new Courtauld users to Wordfly, including training, user account setup and ensuring email guidelines are adhered to. Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications and Senior Manager, Audience Insight and CRM to develop and implement the Courtauld's new email preference centre.
