We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support a fast-paced production facility. You will be responsible for reactive breakdown repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and general site maintenance, ensuring all machinery and building services remain fully operational. This is a hands-on role working in a manufacturing environment, often independently, requiring strong fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repair Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities Maintain and repair equipment including PLCs, inverter drives, conveyors, packaging machinery, and control systems Support building services including HVAC, refrigeration, fire systems, and BMS Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance across site Maintain accurate maintenance records Support H&S compliance and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability Experience in fast-paced manufacturing (food or automotive preferred) Competent with 3-phase systems, PLCs, HMI, and control circuits Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings Experience with motors, gearboxes, fabrication, and welding 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential) HNC or equivalent engineering qualification Please note we will require a copy of your UK rights to work to be forwarded for this position thank you.
