About the role The role of the site electrician is to work within the site maintenance team at the Beccles site, looking after electrical infrastructure. Working Hours Monday to Friday, Double day shifts, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. Key Job Accountabilities Installation of new circuits to planned timelines. Minor works to existing circuits to planned timelines Testing and documentation relevant to the works (minor or Full works) Diagnosing faults and putting forward improvement suggestions to improve circuits and undertaking improvements as required. Electrical loading data for growth of departments Ensuring all duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring all duties are carried out in accordance with current Electrical legislation and company procedures, particularly relating to (though not exclusively to) health and safety, quality and environment management. Ensure that your work area is kept safe, clean and tidy Carry out tasks as requested by line manager, which the jobholder can complete in a safe and competent manner. Working alongside contractors on site. (PAT testing, Thermographic, Guardian, HV) Working alongside HV Contractors in Substations / Transformers Compliance works across site.
