Role Overview The Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will provide clients with accurate, professional, and efficient asbestos survey and analytical services. Responsibilities include: Conducting asbestos inspections, surveys, sampling, and analysis in line with statutory and company requirements. Producing clear, factual survey reports, site plans, technical documents, specifications, method statements, and other relevant documentation. Managing abatement schemes in accordance with legislative guidance, contractual obligations, and internal safety procedures (RAMs, LARC, PoW). Maintaining compliance with UKAS-accredited quality management systems and quality assurance procedures. Representing the company professionally on-site, during client meetings, and in the office. Working safely, considering the impact of activities on all stakeholders. Undertaking additional duties as required by management. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess: Sound knowledge of current asbestos industry practices and developments. Understanding of compliant inspection, surveying, and analytical methods. Awareness of relevant legislation and guidance for asbestos surveying and analysis. Experience working across a range of sites and sectors. Mandatory qualifications: BOHS P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH equivalent). Desirable qualifications: BOHS P406, W504 (S301), CoCA. Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and professionally. Ability to work independently, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and be flexible and reliable. IT literacy, preferably with experience using PDAs or reporting software. A professional, client-focused attitude with attention to detail.
