About the Role We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to oversee day-to-day repairs, coordinate planned maintenance, and supervise contractors. This is a hands on leadership role ensuring our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for all who live and work here. Key Responsibilities: Lead and carry out general maintenance tasks (basic plumbing, joinery, minor building repairs). Conduct regular safety inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Manage stock levels and liaise with contractors for specialist work. Maintain compliance with health & safety, infection control, and fire safety standards. Support emergency procedures and participate in a winter on call rota. What We're Looking For Proven experience in general maintenance, ideally in care or residential settings. Supervisory or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of building systems and joinery. MEWP and PASMA certifications (or willingness to work towards). A positive, flexible attitude and commitment to high standards. Compassionate and respectful approach to working around vulnerable adults.
