Willsway Repairs Ltd require a new HGV Mechanic/ Technician our job role is very elaborate - we work on cars/vans/ trucks and HGV Trailers we also undertake simple body work repairs we need a mature sensible individual who is happy to undertake any challenge/task Trucks and trailers need to be inspected regularly 6-8 weekly intervals MOT prepped once a year and brake tests 4 times year. Hense the requirement for an individual who can drive the large HGV units Car servicing repairs brakes etc - Van servicing repairs and brakes etc the new technician will be expected to undertake all repairs and work listed for the day - prep for the coming week and work on diary to ensure future work is planned efficiently. Willsway Repairs have been trading for four years in that time we have acquired a nice workload most days you will have maybe 4-5 hours worth of work planned maybe the additional instant jobs that appear headlight bulbs wiring issues lights etc - but on the hole you will get a few hours each day that you may be idle - individuals are expected to keep themselves busy during downtime make the workshop presentable and maintain tools. we have a very laid back work environment and are very relaxed - we work closely with a truck body repair shop - UK Truck and body UK - we assist them/ they assist us - if your interested in learning other skills such as body work, bonus as you will be visually watching them work daily thus learning about body work - effectively making you more efficient and allowing Willsway Repairs to undertake the occasional body work jobs. please contact me if you are interested - our ambition is to grow and open additional workshops - you may be interested in the future - you may become the workshop manager of additional workshops - if you are driven, think of the future and wish to be respected within the workspace then please contact me and be prepared to be a highly respected individual not a number i look forward to your application. kind regards Ben Wills Director Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour Benefits: Additional leave Employee discount Flexitime On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: Willenhall, WV12 5QU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Licence/Certification: Mechanical Knowledge (required) Work Location: In person Reference ID: 07/23
