Job Summary - Approved Electrician We are ideally looking for an experienced approved electrician with around 7-10 years post AM2 and ideally more experience to join our small city centre based team. Ideally, I would really like to meet a candidate with a broad experience after completing apprenticeship. However, I would also be very interested to talk to you if you feel that you have great experience and keen to work in a varied work role. Dependent on experience, we are looking to offer a starting a competitive salary and happy to discuss salary with the right candidate, this is for a full-time permanent post with salary negotiable according to experience. Usual duties of domestic and commercial installations, maintenance and testing are carried out. Our hours of work We usually work between 7.30am to 6pm on a 40 to 42.5hr week. We work an eight and a half hour shift, plus lunch within this time. Occasional overtime is available paid on top of salary but always by arrangement on a fair rota system. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Personal skills Good organisational skills. Accurate & efficient. Numerate. Able to manage your own jobs taking ownership from start to finish. Experience of new build domestic installation. Great customer facing skills. Able to complete reports of work done Qualifications and Training - these certificates are essential. Non UK electrical training certification holders must provide evidence that those certificates are applicable in the UK. Required certificates City & Guilds level 3 in Electro-technical Services and Installation/AM2. City & Guilds 18th Edition. City & Guilds Testing and Inspection 2391 or equivalent preferred. Full & clean driving license required. Desirable Emergency First Aid ECS Solar PV + battery experience EV installation Non-smoker please. SSSTS/SMSTS Attitude Essential A sense of commitment to the job, client and your co-workers. Attention to detail and finish. Ability to work on your own initiative. Manage your jobs and take ownership from start to completion Communication must be great. Willingness to learn new skills and share your knowledge. Flexible attitude towards tasks.
