Job Title: Vehicle Technician Salary: £30K - £48.8k OTE ( dependent on experience) Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday 42.5 hours. Job Purpose: To maintain, inspect, repair and test customers' vehicles to the prescribed standards in accordance with the Department for Transport, manufacturer and Operator licence Criteria. Principal duties and responsibilities: Carrying out service, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work Maintaining thorough and up to date product knowledge Replacing components Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion Using specialist equipment such as electrical and electronic diagnostics Engine tuning equipment to measure performance Rectifying faults on customer's vehicles in a busy workshop Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals Work Location: In person.
