In August 2025, we were designated as the Construction Technical Excellence College (CTEC) for Yorkshire & Humber, one of only ten national providers leading the transformation of construction education and skills. The role will require you to lead major strands of activity such as industry engagement, teacher industry exchange, and high-quality industry placements, ensuring these deliver meaningful impact for learners, employers and the wider economy. You will represent both CTEC and Leeds College of Building at regional and national levels, contributing to policy discussions and influencing the future direction of construction education. Alongside this, you will have oversight of performance, impact and investment, ensuring that delivery is effective, aligned to funding priorities and demonstrates clear value.
