Band 6 Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse - Isle of Man (Noble's Hospital) Location: Noble's Hospital, Isle of Man Contract: Temporary / Full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week) Start Date: ASAP End Date: 28 December 2025 Pay Rate: 42 per hour umbella Overview Noble's Hospital on the Isle of Man is seeking an experienced Band 6 Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse to join its highly regarded neonatal team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert, compassionate care in a modern facility dedicated to supporting premature and acutely unwell babies within a family-centred environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to neonates within a Level 2 Neonatal Unit environment. Undertake assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Administer medication, manage equipment and maintain accurate documentation in line with NMC standards. Support parents and families, providing education and reassurance throughout their baby's care journey. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and excellent communication. Supervise junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practice, infection control and safeguarding policies. Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance standards. Requirements NMC Registered Nurse - Adult or Child with Neonatal specialism essential. Proven post-registration experience within a Neonatal Unit (Band 6 or equivalent). Up-to-date training in Neonatal Resuscitation Programme (NRP) and Immediate Life Support (ILS) desirable. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail and commitment to safe, family-centred care. Excellent communication, mentoring and teamwork skills. Enhanced DBS clearance and two recent references. You will maintain and grow relationships with existing donors through careful stewardship in addition to building networks of new supporters, working collaboratively across the organisation and particularly with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and the rest of the Fundraising and Partnerships team. You will scope out opportunities, write funding proposals, and develop and manage a pipeline of prospects, actively fundraising to maximise stakeholder relationships and meet Groundwork's fundraising targets. You will also lead a small team. About you You must have had experience in Fundraising with a demonstrable experience of working widely across fundraising disciplines including individual giving, charity of the year partnerships, trusts and foundations and staff fundraising. You will have experience of growing Fundraising income streams with a focus on individual giving, legacies, major donors. You will also have led a fundraising team and volunteers. About the Role As a key member of the Community Fundraising team, you will lead on developing and managing relationships with supporters - including individuals, community groups, and corporate organisations - within the Northeast and Yorkshire. You will be responsible for identifying and nurturing opportunities. You will build a strong pipeline of supporters as well as focusing on the stewardship journey. About you As a Regional Fundraiser you will have had experience in Fundraising or in a relationship management role. You will have experience of building stakeholder relationships as well as working successfully towards targets. You will be a car driver with access to a car. Please note that this is a Remote Role with travel across the following areas. Although the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role the candidate is required to live in the North East (Tyne and Wear, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, County Durham, Northumberland), as there is regular travel within this area.
