Administration Account & Inside Sales We are looking for talented people to join our motivated and friendly team at RoBAT Ltd., a subsidiary of Mycronic. Based at our headquarters in Macclesfield, Cheshire, we design and manufacture high value robotic machines for testing PCBs. Position Overview Assist with Purchasing, Office and Stores Administration to support our financial, operations and engineering teams. Carry out a variety of tasks including stores management, purchasing and other admin related duties. Ensure stock is available, well organised, and efficiently distributed. Manage service contracts. Key Responsibilities Manages requisitions and processes purchase orders from quotation to delivery Serves as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments to resolve supply related issues Coordinates domestic and international shipping (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL) Matches delivery notes to purchase orders and records goods received in the ERP systems Provides administrative support across all departments, including senior leadership (e.g., Managing Director) Acts as the first point of contact for phone inquiries, greets visitors, and handles incoming mail Maintains office supplies and assists with filing, scanning, and data entry Updates internal records, including holiday schedules, absences, and fire roll call lists Oversees daily operations of the parts store Monitors stock levels, reorders supplies, and organises inventory Conducts regular inventory counts and ensures accurate ERP system records Maintains a clean, safe, and well organised store environment Performs other relevant duties as required Experience and Qualifications Highly organized, dependable, and detail oriented with a strong focus on quality and results Self motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and see tasks through to completion Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Excel and ERP platforms Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Effective communicator-both verbal and written-with a confident phone manner and a collaborative, team orientated mindset Previous experience in administrative or purchasing roles is beneficial but not required; full training will be provided Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, hands on role Excellent attention to detail and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Strong problem solving abilities, including analysis, evaluation, decision making, and creative thinking Working Conditions / Physical & Mental Demands The role requires regular talking or hearing, use of hands or fingers, handling or feeling objects, tools, or controls. The employee may stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
