About the role Reporting to the Lead, HR Partners, this role is responsible for contributing cultural therapeutic ways of the delivery of HR support and advice across VACCA. This position delivers employment and employee relations advice and HR support services in alignment with VACCA's vision and purpose. The Deputy Lead HR Partners plays a critical role in establishing and building relationships across VACCA to deliver high-quality HR support services and build capacity and expertise in people management practices across the organisation. The Deputy Lead HR Partner manages HR support services with two direct reports. About You Commitment to and understanding of the values that underpin VACCA's vision and purpose Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management (HRM), industrial/employment law or a related discipline, and/or substantial experience in these fields Proven experience in providing HR advice, complex case management coaching and support and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures Effective and culturally appropriate interpersonal skills and high levels of discretion and integrity Capacity to support change and undertake workplace investigations with integrity and discretion Strong organisational skills with degree of drive, initiative, time management skills and commitment to high quality customer service Demonstrated ability to supervise and build the capacity of a team consistent with VACCA policies and frameworks Requirements: Valid Police Check, a Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
