Job Summary: We are a small family run business, currently seeking skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. We are looking for someone with general haulage/tanker experience. Moffett/crane license would be a bonus. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations within the UK. Nights out will be up to 4 nights a week depending on work load. Occasional weekend work as and when required, these are paid additional to basic pay. Meal allowance and phone allowance paid in addition to basic wages. Responsibilities:- Safely operate the vehicle and trailer to transport goods and materials- Load and unload equipment following safety procedures- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all timesRequirements:- Valid commercial driving licence (Category C)- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety- Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation- Physically fit to load and unload cargo as required Join our team as a Truck Driver and enjoy competitive pay, and the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your skills are valued.
