As we grow, we continue to take on exciting projects in hazardous (ATEX) areas, voltage optimisation installations, and machine automation. The Role: As an Industrial Installation Electrician at Advanced Electrical Services (YKS) Ltd, you'll be responsible for: Installation, Maintenance, and Fault Finding of industrial electrical equipment. Working on machine automation , and voltage optimisation systems. Installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of industrial equipment and electrical systems. Using your skills to perform analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting in both routine and reactive situations. Contributing to the overall success of our projects with your strong communication, time management, and organisational skills. What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate will: Be a time-served, apprentice-trained Electrician with at least 5 years post qualifying industrial experience. Have a strong understanding of electrical testing and reactive fault finding . Possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills . Be capable of working independently and as part of a team. Have experience with installing various cabling, containment systems , and industrial electrical equipment. Hold a full clean driving licence and be comfortable driving a company van. Additional qualifications such as Compex (Hazardous Areas) or Testing & Inspection certifications would be a bonus but are not mandatory. What We Offer: Competitive Salary : Overtime paid at time and a half or double time . Work Schedule : A standard 40-hour work week, with additional weekend/evening hours as required. Anticipated average working week is 50+ hours. Company Van : Provided for your use on the job. Pension : After qualifying period.
