As the company continues to grow and operate in an increasingly regulated environment, they're seeking a Governance Manager to strengthen risk, compliance, and assurance frameworks across the organisation. The Role As Governance Manager, you'll ensure the business maintains robust, transparent, and compliant operations in line with regulatory expectations and internal standards. Working closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance and other key stakeholders, you'll enhance governance controls, oversee policy frameworks, and embed a culture of accountability and good practice throughout the organisation. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and continuously improve governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. Coordinate governance committee and risk forum meetings, ensuring actions and decisions are accurately recorded and followed up. Support regulatory compliance activities (FCA, UK GDPR, ISO standards), ensuring all obligations are understood and met. Oversee the review and approval of key policies and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory and operational requirements. Monitor, track, and report on key risk indicators and assurance activities. Support internal and external audits, including evidence gathering, control testing, and follow-up actions. Provide advice and guidance to business leaders on governance, control, and compliance matters. About You Proven experience within governance, risk, or compliance in a regulated financial services or FinTech environment. Strong understanding of governance principles, compliance frameworks, and operational risk management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports and present to senior stakeholders. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive, solution-driven approach. Confident working cross-functionally and influencing at all levels of the organisation. Teams and individuals are equally encouraged to get in touch. Starts available from Monday 24th November 2025. This project is expected to run for the next 6 months. Must have experience in data cable and device installation within an industrial environment as well as moves and changes. This project will involve all aspects of data cabling installation and fibre cabling runs.
