Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineering Isle of Skye 700 per day (Umbrella PAYE) 6-Month Rolling Contract 10 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotation We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major infrastructure programme on the Isle of Skye . This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of one of the UK's significant power infrastructure schemes, supporting the reinforcement of a 130km power line route through challenging and remote terrain. The Project The project involves the delivery of extensive civil engineering works associated with a major power line reinforcement scheme, including: Road construction and access infrastructure Drainage installation Earthworks Over 100 bridge crossings Enabling works and associated civil infrastructure This is a civil engineering-focused role and does not involve electrical transmission, substations, or power systems construction. The scheme is currently progressing through development and pre-construction phases, requiring close coordination of design activities, stakeholder engagement, approvals, and construction planning ahead of delivery. The Role As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the project team through the planning and delivery phases, ensuring designs are coordinated, construction activities are prepared effectively, and project objectives are achieved safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Managing project delivery across multiple work fronts Coordinating design development and approvals Working closely with Construction Managers and delivery teams Overseeing programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder management Driving health, safety, quality, and environmental standards Supporting the transition from development into construction Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on major civil engineering projects Strong background in linear infrastructure projects (highways, utilities, pipelines, rail, transmission routes, etc.) Experience coordinating design teams and managing approvals processes Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills Ability to operate effectively within remote site environments Package 700 per day Umbrella PAYE Employer contributions included in line with company arrangements 6-month rolling contract Long-term project opportunity 10 days on / 4 days off rotation Site-based role on the Isle of Skye Camp accommodation available Accommodation cost payable by the individual at approximately 50- 60 per day To apply or discuss the opportunity in confidence, please submit your CV today.

Completions Engineer - AWE Location: AWE - On-site Rate: 500 per day Contract: Initial 3 months, with view to extend Clearance: Live SC or DV essential Start: ASAP - candidates with current SC/DV can onboard within a couple of weeks The Role We are seeking an experienced Completions Engineer / Quality Engineer to support the completion, verification and handover of works on a major programme at AWE . You will be responsible for ensuring construction and engineering activities are completed to the required quality standards, with accurate documentation and records maintained through to final handover. Key Responsibilities Managing completions and quality records through to handover Reviewing and verifying completion documentation, drawings and test records Tracking outstanding works, defects and punch-list items Using Orbit to manage and record completions and quality information Working closely with construction, commissioning and engineering teams Supporting final inspection, verification and handover activities Ensuring works meet project, quality and regulatory requirements Requirements Proven experience in Completions, Quality or QA/QC within a complex engineering environment Experience managing completion/handover documentation and quality records AWE experience highly desirable Orbit experience highly desirable Experience working on nuclear, defence, process or other highly regulated projects Strong understanding of quality assurance and completion processes Live SC or DV clearance - essential Valid CSCS card - essential Relevant engineering/quality qualification or equivalent experience preferred 500/day AWE 3-month initial contract SC/DV essential Immediate requirement
