Labourer - Steel Cage Repair £13.71 per hour + £1.65 Hol pay (£15.36 total) As labourer, your job will be to repair steel cages used for transporting food onto the shop floor of this supermarket. The job involves changing cage wheels, using a sledgehammer, nut runner and crowbar to repair steel cages. Your job as labourer will also be loading and unloading lorries and be flexible about your work duties. You will be physically fit, working Monday to Friday 6.00am to 3.30pm, with potential for overtime at the Weekend. Full training will be provided to the labourer, candidates must have steel toe cap boots, a high viz vest and all other Personal Protective equipment will be supplied. You must be able to attend work using your own transport and live within a close distance to site. Mobile phones must be switched off during working hours.

Team Leader - Steel Cage Repair £15.00 per hour + £1.81 Hol pay (£16.81 total) As labourer Team Leader, your job will be to co-ordinate a small team of labourers and be the single point contact for the repair of steel cages used for transporting food onto the shop floor of this supermarket. This hands-on role involves changing cage wheels, using a sledgehammer, nut runner and crowbar to repair steel cages. Your job as Team Leader will also be to manage the loading and unloading of lorries and be flexible about your work duties. You will be physically fit, working Monday to Friday 6.00am to 3.30pm, with potential for overtime at the Weekend. Full training will be provided, candidates must have steel toe cap boots, a high viz vest and all other Personal Protective equipment will be supplied. You must be able to attend work using your own transport and live within a close distance to site. Overtime may be available and is paid at flat rate. Following a 12-week period, you will receive overtime at time and a half and double time as per the client terms and conditions. This is a temp to perm role following a qualifying period.

Description My client is a food waste processing company based in Hoddesdon, and they now require an Labourer with an immediate start requested. The role is to use a jet washer to clean working areas and lorries / wheels who make deliveries. The job is to clean and tidy areas both inside and outside. You will be fit and aware of your surroundings and health and safety conscious. Hours of work are likely to be 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Start and finish times to be confirmed but 0730hrs or 0800hrs start time is likely. The work environment is wet and smelly as you will be working with a food waste processing environment.
